元門自2007年12月2日起，
舉辦每月公益送米活動，
送米對象為弘化懷幼院等
全省華山基金會的三失老人與創世基金會植物人安養，
自2013年度開始
以護生愛地的環保理念，
落實公益共修護生愛地的精神，
支持用自己的方式愛土地的有機耕種，
濟助孤幼老殘用更健康的供養，
送米原則為有機米，
贈送有機米的單位團體，
轉為全台天主教基金會等所主辦的各啟智中心與教養院等，
擴展弱勢團體的社會關懷！
The Yuanmen Taichi Martial Arts Center has held a charity rice event every month since December 2, 2007. The rice is donated to the Hong Hua Children’s Orphanage; elderly people who suffer from dementia, have disabilities, or live alone and are under the wing of the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation’s; and patients in vegetative states being cared for by the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation. In addition, beginning in 2013, based on the spirit of love and care for all sentient beings and the planet, we have been providing organic rice to people young and old who are alone or suffer from disabilities. The rice is brought to special-needs and educational/ care centers organized by Catholic foundations throughout Taiwan.

讓很多有需求的貧弱，得食得力。

could not be done without the initiative and effort of every individual, group, and organization involved, including the supportive action of many students and friends of Yuanmen. Indeed, it is because of every one of you that our charity rice event has been so successful in providing food for the poor and disadvantaged. It is not easy to start, much less sustain, such an endeavor, but with the effort and persistence of those who are helping, we have been able to do something wonderful. We believe that your honorable participation is sure to be blessed each day with protection, merit, wisdom, and provision for further self-cultivation!
